EL CIRCO PARA CRECER-CREAR
Desde Febrero de este año tuve la oportunidad de acceder al Seminario Permanente de Circo Social, impartido por Anarama, con la colaboración del Centro Cultural España en México; y quiero compartir un poco de esta experiencia que es por demás humanizadora y artística al mismo tiempo.
Durante cada sesión se nos ha guiado de la mano para adentrarnos en la complejidad del circo social, desde los derechos humanos que tod@s tenemos para ser participes del arte y la cultura, hasta las metodologías propias para sistematizar nuestro trabajo.
Han sido el compromiso de los ponentes y las coordinadoras, lo que ha llevado a enseñarnos tan paciente y concienzudamente las pautas para bordar ese tejido social que sabemos descompuesto; hemos visto como a partir de experiencias personales, casos de éxito y mucho trabajo han sido posibles re-generar procesos de crecimiento personal, logrado por las diversas disciplinas que cubren las artes circenses.
Si bien, no se busca convertir en artistas a l@s participantes de estos procesos (aunque hay artistas que se formaron al interior de estas valiosas iniciativas) si es a través del arte y sus retos (la disciplina, la confianza, el trabajo en equipo, etc.) que se han logrado accionar múltiples proyectos de relevancia internacional. Estas propuestas han modificado conductas violentas en ciertos sectores o en comunidades en donde el circo social ha tenido un gran impacto, de ahí su importancia al reconocerlas y promoverlas.
THE CIRCUS TO GROW-CREATE
Since February of this year I had the opportunity to access the Permanent Seminar of Social Circus, given by Anarama, with the collaboration of the Spain Cultural Center in Mexico; and I want to share a bit of this experience that is humanizing and artistic at the same time.
During each session we have been guided by the hand to delve into the complexity of the social circus, from the human rights that we all have to participate in art and culture, to our own methodologies to systematize our work.
It has been the commitment of the speakers and the coordinators, which has led them to teach us so patiently and conscientiously the guidelines to embroider that social fabric that we know is broken; We have seen how from personal experiences, success stories and a lot of work it has been possible to re-generate processes of personal growth, achieved by the various disciplines that cover the circus arts.
Although, it is not intended to turn the participants of these processes into artists (although there are artists who were trained within these valuable initiatives) if it is through art and its challenges (discipline, trust, teamwork , etc.) that have managed to launch multiple projects of international relevance. These proposals have modified violent behaviors in certain sectors or in communities where the social circus has had a great impact, hence their importance in recognizing and promoting them.
TRABAJAR MÁS ALLÁ DEL RESULTADO
En el Circo Social el proceso es vital, a diferencia del Circo tradicional (en donde, quizá lo más importante es la pericia, limpieza y perfección para ejecutar un acto) aquí es el negociar el día a día, y es fundamental el acompañar con bastante escucha a cada participante; sabiendo que su proceso es único, pedagógico sin buscar un resultado inmediato y sobre todo que tiene un objetivo esencial: aportar lo mejor de las artes circenses para buscar estar mejor; o al menos eso he sentido en esta experiencia tecno-vivial en donde he podido compartir con aquell@s que han logrado conectar con otros seres humanos y que encontraron en el circo una posibilidad para ayudar a visualizar una oportunidad diferente de vida.
Obviamente que para continuar y difundir el proceso que se lleva a cabo al interior de una agrupación de circo social es necesario mostrarlo (a la comunidad, barrio o población con la que se trabaja) Presentar lo aprendido durante las sesiones de entrenamiento no solo nos vincula con las familias de l@s participantes a los talleres (lo que lo vuelve mas significativo) si no que da cuenta del proceso y su importancia más allá del resultado, volcando en la culminación la oportunidad para cada integrante de sentirse escuchad@, valorad@ y siendo parte importante de un todo (la muestra o función)
WORK BEYOND RESULT
In the Social Circus the process is vital, unlike the traditional Circus (where, perhaps the most important thing is the expertise, cleanliness and perfection to execute an act) here is to negotiate the day to day, and it is essential to accompany with enough listen to each participant; knowing that its process is unique, pedagogical without seeking an immediate result and above all that it has an essential objective: to contribute the best of the circus arts to seek to be better; or at least that is what I have felt in this techno-living experience where I have been able to share with those who have managed to connect with other human beings and who found in the circus a possibility to help visualize a different life opportunity.
Obviously, in order to continue and disseminate the process that is carried out within a social circus group, it is necessary to show it (to the community, neighborhood or population with which it works) Presenting what has been learned during the training sessions does not only link us with the families of the participants in the workshops (which makes it more significant) if not that it gives an account of the process and its importance beyond the result, giving at the end the opportunity for each member to feel heard, valued. and being an important part of a whole (the show)
ACCIONAR CON UNA PROPUESTA HONESTA
Detrás del conocimiento aportado por cada ponente hay mucha experiencia y trabajo; han compartido lo mejor y lo peor de sus proyectos, haciendo que me sienta más cercana y segura de querer intentar replicar procesos y registrarlos. Estamos mas allá de la mitad para concluir la experiencia del seminario, y han sido tantas herramientas las que me llevo, que no quiero dejar pasar la oportunidad de reflexionar y proponer desde lo que puedo hacer en la vereda donde vivo.
Hay mucho por accionar, lo sé y quiero asegurarme de que lo haré lo mejor posible. Gracias a cada ponente y colaborador que me ha ayudado a develar muchas cosas al interior del circo social, son ustedes quienes con su trabajo hacen del mundo un lugar mejor.
ACT WITH AN HONEST PROPOSAL
Behind the knowledge contributed by each speaker there is a lot of experience and work; they have shared the best and the worst of their projects, making me feel closer and more secure in wanting to try to replicate processes and record them. We are beyond the middle to conclude the experience of the seminar, and there have been so many tools that I have taken with me, that I do not want to miss the opportunity to reflect and propose from what I can do in the village where I live.
There is a lot to do, I know that and I want to make sure that I will do my best. Thanks to each speaker and collaborator who has helped me reveal many things within the social circus, it is you who with your work make the world a better place.
